And the winner is…

Sense and Sensibility
The winners of the Jane Austen Regency World Awards have now been announced!

Not so surprising Colin Firth took home the price as the best ever Mr. Darcy, receiving more than half of the votes!

Sense & Sensibility won the best adaptation category, and two from the cast of it won best actress and best actor. Hattie Morahan for her portrayal of Elinor Dashwood and David Morrisey for Colonel Brandon.

Winner of best supporting actor was Hugh Bonneville from Lost in Austen where he played Mr. Bennet.

Best new fiction went to Emma Campell-Webster for Being Elizabeth Bennet: Create Your Own Jane Austen Adventure.

And finally best new non-fiction went to Lori Smith for A Walk With Jane Austen.

I can’t remember exactly all what I voted for, but I’m quite pleased with most of the results.
