Once again my title is very revealing.
After the dance had finished I was invited by Clara and Chloe (who I mentioned in one of my previous posts) to join them and some other people for afternoon tea in the Pump Room. I was delighted to accept their kind invitation, and I am so glad I did! It was lovely! Simply lovely! I’ve always liked afternoon tea, and to have it in the Pump Room, where so many characters in Jane Austen’s books have been, and indeed, Jane herself, was a very special treat!
It was delicious, and the company was wonderful! I had never really met any of these people before (the first time was at the dance), but everyone was so nice and I dind’t feel shy at all (which I often do when I meet new people).
I did manage to get a few pictures this time. Here are some of them.
Shannon and Chloe
Justin, Nina and Kirsty
Clara and me (by the way, Clara is Swedish too!)
As well as the lovely company and the delicious food there was also some lovely music! I tried to get a good picture of the band (alright, I admit. I was really trying to get a good picture of the piano, since as many of you know I am a big fan of grand pianos! And this one was a Steinway!) but I am afraid you can’t see much of them, but quite a lot of the couple who sat next to us…..
We asked someone to take a picture of all of us together. Unfortunately mine turned out slightly blurry, but in this small one you can’t see that too well.
And then we needed to have a picture of us all together by the pump!
And outside the Pump Room too! Here my friends Karen and Lily came and joined us too.
As we stood there posing for pictures (pictures taken with our own cameras that is) this huge group of tourists came by (I still don’t know if they were all together or if they just happened to be there all at the same time) and wanted to take pictures of us too! It was really fun! And then they all wanted to have their own picture taken, just one of them with all of us. And that took a long time! And there kept coming more and more people! It was hilarious!
I managed to get one shot of some of them. But believe me, there were many more than those you can see in the picture here!
I still have a few more pictures to share of my last day in Bath. So one more post at least.

Aurora,
Thanks for posting all the happy events of the festival! It was great fun, especially meeting you and everyone!

Thanks for the comment Justin!
I totally agree, it was great fun, and one of the best things about the whole festival was definitely meeting everyone!
You are very welcome, it has been my pleasure entirely!
Aurora
This priceless. Now you know how it feels to “be” a tourist attraction. Looks like fun.
Oh, it was loads of fun! Quite an interesting experience I must say!
