My Florence trip, yet again….! This time; Film Clips!

I just this morning found these youtube clips from the event I went to in Florence in May. I had no idea anyone had been filming, or that someone had uploaded them! That was a nice surprise to me! 🙂
There were quite a few clips, very nicely made, and I spent the morning looking at them all. I don’t know how fun they are to see if you weren’t there yourself, but I still thought I’d post some of them.
I also managed to find myself in almost all the clips! 🙂

Afternoon tea at the Villa Gerini. You can spot me occasionally in my white dress.

The lovely garden and the little “lake”.

This was great fun! I didn’t quite understand the game, but it was fun to watch the others play. You can see me as one of the spectators.

From the ball at the Villa Gerini. You can see me very well for the first 1 1/2 minutes.

Here is from the ball at the Villa del Poggio Imperiale the night before. Once again you can see me quite well.

I liked this one, how you get to see the whole ballroom, people dancing (yes, you can see me again!), people talking, the musicians…

Seeing all these brought back lots of great memories from that wonderful weekend, and makes me long for another such event soon again!

How lucky you are to be part of these events!

The name of the author I was telling you about is Fredrika Wilhelmina Carstens and her book is called “Murgrönan”. You should check it out!

Thank you Anna for those links! I read what it said about the book and it does sound like something I would enjoy! And like I said before, would be fun to read something actually set in Sweden around that time. 🙂
I’ve never heard of the author before, or the book. Will definitely check it out!

    Aurora,
These were fun to watch. The ballroom was so beautiful and everyone’s costumes so lovely. It is fun to see everyone in motion; must have been like a dream to be there yourself.
